Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our small, close-knit organisation in the aged care sector. In this role, you will be integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. You will work closely with a supportive and crossfunctional team whilst fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence in care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert clinical care to residents, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and other junior and senior healthcare professionals.
* Conduct thorough assessments and monitor residents’ health, documenting progress and outcomes effectively.
* Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting professional growth and teamwork within the organisation.
* Address and resolve any clinical concerns or complaints from residents and families in a timely and empathetic manner.
* Stay informed on best practices and advancements in aged care to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
* Previous experience in aged care or a similar clinical nursing role.
* Strong understanding of Aged Care accreditation standards and clinical guidelines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team or junior and senior staff members.
* Compassionate and patient-first approaches to care.
