THE COMPANY:

THE POSITION:
The primary purpose of the Stores Officer is to ensure the secure, safe and efficient receipt and dispatch of orders to meet business timelines and customer expectations, ensuring they are cleared in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Receipting, storing, movement and dispatch of goods
* Processing orders
* Communicating with logistics companies
* Conducting initial and final QA inspections of materials and products
* Raise non-compliance reports
* Communicating effectively with customers and AFP
* Maintaining store room
* Ensuring documentation and databases are accurate
* Preparing stock reports
* Loading & unloading goods in a safe manner
* Operating security scanning equipment
* Pick and pack orders
* General stores/warehouse duties
* Basic computer skills
* Demonstrate commitment to safety
* Operating materials handling equipment
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* Full Federal Government Security Clearance required - Can take up to 6 weeks
* Must be able to provide 100 points of ID
* Must be able to provide 2 referees
* Must be an Australian Citizen to work for Federal Government
* Forklift licence, essential
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar position
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to follow strict procedures and policies
* Team focused
* SAP experience, highly regarded
* HR Licence, highly regarded
WORK TYPE: Position approval for 12 months Temp with view to extend
LOCATION: Lucas Heights
HOURLY RATE: $42.58/Hour (Includes casual loading) + Super
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm
FULL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
MUST BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN TO WORK FOR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
