This role is based in a vibrant regional town in New South Wales, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of the local Indigenous community.As the Practice Nurse, you’ll be a critical part of the health team, providing a wide range of services to patients, including assessments, immunisations, chronic disease management, wound care, and assistance with minor procedures. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care to support the health and wellness of the community. Further Details Up to $110,000.00 PA + 11.5% superannuation Monday to Friday, standard clinics hours only!! NO weekends, NO on-call! Patient Care: Conduct assessments, screenings, and immunisations; assist with minor procedures.
Chronic Disease Management: Create care plans, support patient self-care, and provide education.
Wound Care: Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and patient education.
Testing and Diagnostics: Conduct ECG and spirometry tests, report findings.
Health Education: Promote preventive care and lifestyle advice tailored to individual needs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records.
Community Health Support: Contribute to health initiatives with a culturally sensitive approach. Eligibility Criteria Full AHPRA registration with no restrictions Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Practice Nurse or in Primary Health Nationally recognised vaccination certification Completion of Covid-19 vaccination modules Basic Life Support (CPR) certification Experience in Indigenous health and community work (desirable) Full Australian working rights Key Skills and Experience Required Immunisation ECG and Spirometry Chronic disease management Wound care, dressing changes, and minor procedures Blood collection/Phlebotomy (desirable) Cannulation (desirable) How to Apply Please click 'Apply Now'.
