This new role, based in Canberra but spanning UNSW Sydney campuses, will develop and implement a communications strategy to enhance the Institute's profile and impact. The Officer will create and deliver content across various channels, including print, radio, TV, and digital platforms, to reach a wide range of stakeholders. By designing innovative formats for translating and communicating research, the Officer will ensure the Institute's work is accessible and engaging. Reporting to the Director of the Institute for Cyber Security, Professor Debi Ashenden, this role is crucial for amplifying IFCyber's voice and fostering meaningful connections. This position is a broadband level 6/7. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and experience. Who You Are (skills and experience) Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a comprehensive communications and media strategy. Experience in producing high-quality and engaging content across various digital mediums. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and media. Proficiency in design tools and social media platforms for content development. High attention to detail and ability to analyse content metrics for process improvement.
