To Be Successful in This Role A passion for the industry, a want to be the best in service Prior experience in a similar role A genuinely warm & welcoming demeanor Availability to work weekends and overnights across a 7 day roster A gift for paying attention to the smallest details About The Role Organize, confirm and process guest check-ins/ check-outs and adapt for any changes Secure payment, verifying and adjusting billing as needed Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities and local interests Run daily reports, reviewing to see what needs to be communicated to the next shift’s staff Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank at the end of each shift securely Accept and record wake-up calls, delivering to the right department Communicate any emergency, lost item or theft to proper security staff and/or authorities Keep contingency lists in case of emergency and communicate any necessary messages Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures. Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
