About the Role As a Payroll Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across our workforce. Working closely with the General Manager – Payroll, you'll handle payroll administration, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and awards.
What You'll Do: Process payroll for wages and salaried staff across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles Maintain accurate employee records and payroll transactions Provide payroll-related reports and reconciliations Interpret and apply relevant Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and employment legislation Assist with superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax processes Offer payroll support to managers and employees What You'll Bring: Demonstrated experience in payroll processing (experience with iChris/TIMS Payroll is highly desirable) Ability to manage payroll in a complex environment with a mix of casual and permanent staff (300+ employees) Strong numerical ability and attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems Sound understanding of employment legislation and award interpretation Why Join Us?
