Your new roleWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Lecturer (Clinical Educator - Teaching Academic) to lead the development and expansion of high-quality rural clinical training experiences for nursing students. In this fixed-term (2 years) full-time position, you will support the capacity building for effective clinical supervision and preceptorship across various settings in the diverse communities of the Goldfields region.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Develop and implement quality clinical training programs for nursing students.
Foster effective clinical supervision and mentorship across multiple settings.
Engage with stakeholders, including community members, clinicians, faculties, and schools, to promote the objectives of GUDRH.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical education practices.
Evaluate and improve clinical training experiences based on feedback and best practices.

A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline (or equivalent accreditation and professional standing for Teaching Focused Clinical Professional role).
Demonstrated high level teaching skills and a demonstrated reflective approach to teaching delivery.
A strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline.
An emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching.
Demonstrated experience / capacity to undertake unit coordination.
Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal and organisational skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity.
Demonstrated commitment to the application of relevant and applicable policies, procedures and legislation in the day-to-day performance of the functions of this position.
