A great opportunity for an employment lawyer who would like a change and wants to perform “hands-on” workplace relations work.We are happy for someone to be based remotely.Who are we?We are growing and are currently a team of 6 based in Norwood, Adelaide. We work with clients across Australia assisting them with the development and implementation of progressive workplace relations strategies. This could be anything from Industrial Relations Strategies, Enterprise Agreement strategy and negotiations, sensitive workplace investigations and dispute resolution, tender support or merger/acquisition due diligence where people and industrial instruments are impacted.Our clients work in diverse and interesting industries including oil & gas, defence, construction, transport, stevedoring, health and retail, which means that no day is the same.What will the role involve?You will work on a range of challenging and exciting workplace relations projects. A lot of our projects are hands-on, providing specialised services to clients as part of their team. These projects will include:Developing and implementing workplace relations strategies including enterprise agreement negotiations and direct engagement models;Assisting organisations in developing workforce strategies for tendering in large private and public sector contracts;Conducting workplace training on a range of topics such as appropriate workplace behaviour;Sensitive workplace investigations;Secondment arrangements with clients to provide specialised expertise;Wage compliance reviews, including underpayment rectification and M&A due diligence;Ensuring clients are up to date with industry changes; andProviding specialist expert advice in workplace relations on modern awards, enterprise agreements, performance management, change management projects and employee entitlements.Who will this role suit?This role will suit someone who enjoys the challenge of the sharp-end of workplace relations and wants to be involved in first-hand in projects, without the complexity of a large company.
