Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is expanding its dynamic Civil Infrastructure business in Sydney and is looking for an experienced Water Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure team.Our services include network and treatment planning and design for water, wastewater, and recycled water projects.You will have world-class people around you to achieve your results, including (but not limited to) our renowned structural engineering and ground engineering teams based in the same office and supported on a global scale.
One of your key challenges will be to prioritize your tasks on an ongoing basis, so it will be important to be organized and confident in your ability.The role will involve you working in a team with a strong culture, a diverse project portfolio, and you will have opportunities to take advantage of AECOM's global reach.What will a day in this role look like:Lead the design of water infrastructure projects.Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.You will have the opportunity to get involved in coordinating, managing, and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for projects in planning, design, and/or construction support.QualificationsThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
