We’re building beyond payments - offering retail merchants a comprehensive, customisable, one-stop digital platform for creating and managing commerce experiences to help business flow.
What you’ll do
* Negotiation and Strategy: Supporting commercial negotiations with vendors and schemes, developing negotiation strategies, and analysing options to optimise benefits for Wpay and the Woolworths Group.
* Operational Improvement: Identifying and implementing operational process improvements across operational, fraud, data & analytics functions, and prioritising plans for these areas.
* Wpay Transformation: Defining and shaping the ongoing refinement of Wpay's transformation and growth agenda, including refining pricing strategies, identifying and driving operational improvement initiatives, and uplifting management reporting and profitability analysis.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with stakeholders across Wpay and external partners to deliver change, preparing recommendations for Wpay's leadership team, and working with procurement, legal, and business stakeholders as needed.
* Problem Solving and Change Management: Structuring problems, defining plans of action to solve them, and actively influencing or embedding change.
What you’ll bring
* Experience: 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in consultancy, investment banking, or corporate strategy with a proven track record of delivering results.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including Wpay LT, Group Treasury, Finance Shared Services, GMs across the group, and key external client stakeholders.
* Problem Solving and Change Management: Demonstrated deep experience and knowledge of complex business problem solving and frameworks, project and change management.
* Communication and Influence: Superb written and oral communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills, well-organised, proactive, and able to apply pragmatic business judgement to assumptions.
