The Project
CPB Contractors has won the tender for stage one of the new Bundaberg Hospital build. The $1.2 billion project will include 121 new beds across a range of services such as intensive care, coronary, medical, surgical, paediatric, rehabilitation and mental health units. It will also have an expanded emergency department and enhanced clinical support services.

Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the New Bundaberg Hospital project team. This role will be the lead HR representative for the project and will be based on site in Bundaberg or FIFO from Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing generalist HR/IR support to the project team.
2. Advice, coaching and support to managers to facilitate contemporary HR/IR practices.
3. Initiating and driving HR initiatives and supporting client groups through periods of organisational change.
4. Provide support and advice to leaders to ensure participation in performance management initiatives.
5. Management of project-based initiatives to attract, retain and grow our talented team.
Requirements for this role:
6. Tertiary HR qualification or similar discipline.
7. Relevant Legislation knowledge and experience interpreting employment contracts, awards and enterprise agreements.
8. Proven negotiation skills and be solutions orientated
9. Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
10. Experience in managing employee grievances and workplace investigations.
