We're looking for a FFE Designer / Interior Design Manager to join our dynamic Design and Project Management team and support all activities and initiatives within our interior design group. You will have a special focus on FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Design and play a key role in projects, directing design, selecting and specifying furniture, reviewing shop drawings, decorative lighting, textiles, and styling accessories to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. As a FFE Designer / Interior Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of our properties. You'll be involved in every stage of the design process, from initial concepts to final handover completion, ensuring that each project meets our high standards of excellence. Your expertise will be essential in providing design critiques, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and resolving any performance issues with materials and finishes. You'll also support the direction for the design development and delivery of major projects, aligning with Crown Standards and expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Support the design and management of minor / major projects and collaborate with design teams to direct FF&E concepts based on specific requirements.Knowledgeable on furniture, lighting, finishes, and accessories from vendors and manufacturers.Create FF&E presentations, mood boards, material boards, and sample packages for internal stakeholders' review / approval.Assist in design reviews and critiques for major projects, including documentation and prototype / shop drawing reviews.Work with project managers to maintain budget control and ensure timely project completion.Qualifications & Skills: Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related discipline and strong portfolio showcasing FF&E selections and design execution.Communicate clearly with peers, builders, suppliers and manufacturers to achieve best results with no miscommunication and assist with the presentation of design concepts and outcomes to key stakeholders.Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced work environment and able to prioritize and manage changing workloads.Strong knowledge of furniture construction, materials, fabrics and sustainability standards.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).Additional InformationWhat you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
