About the role:
Norco AgriSolutions has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative/Business Development Manager with a background in the agribusiness industry, to join the team at our Lismore Animal Nutrition Manufacturing site on a full-time basis.
As the Regional Sales Representative, you will maintain business partnerships with our established clients throughout our distribution territory. You will continually seek out business growth opportunities, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved, whilst building trust and rapport with customers through the provision of appropriate and reliable advice and customer service.
Providing insights and market intelligence to aid in operational decisions and procurement strategy, you will play a key role in delivering our overall business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Manage key accounts to ensure sustainable revenue and good customer relations.
* Active canvassing with the objective of strengthening existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities and growing sales, GP and market share.
* Develop sales strategies and programs with targeted new accounts and manage existing accounts to ensure achievement of sales budget and business unit budget.
* Develop effective marketing and sales programs.
* Provide advice to end-users in the dairy, beef, pig and poultry industries.
* Active participation and compliance with QA systems, procedures and documentation.
* Identify and implement new product design and development to deliver viable, sustainable market opportunities.
* Actively drive sales and operational planning process to deliver operational efficiency and customer service levels.
* Deliver quarterly market insight reports to clarify strategic priorities, opportunities and challenges.
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company policy and procedures to drive a culture of early prevention and zero harm.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
* Strong experience in the agribusiness industry in agricultural sales or similar specialising in livestock nutrition/production systems.
* A passionate and engaging Sales/BDM professional with a strong presence.
* Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills.
* Proven ability to be a team player within a small team environment.
* Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office and POS.
* Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
* High focus and commitment to WHS.
* Current clean C Class driver’s licence (minimum).
