This is a recruitment pool for a Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part-Time Appointments. Fixed Term appointments have the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 31 December 2025.
What is our Clinical Midwife role?
This position will provide continuity of midwifery care during the antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum periods as a member of a midwifery group practice for culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) women within a hospital setting. In accordance with the ANMC Competency Standards for Midwives, the Code of Ethics and professional conduct for midwives, the Clinical Midwife will work as part of a collaborative team with medical and allied health practitioners with the emphasis on the provision of safe, effective care which is culturally sensitive, and meets the needs of individual women and their families. You will be a driven and innovative individual whose actions, interactions and partnerships achieve high quality care in a secondary hospital setting.

Area Profile
Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) provides clinical care to women and families. It comprises King Edward Memorial Hospital, the Gynaecology, Maternity and Neonatal Units at Osborne Park Hospital and other specialist health services.
The Maternity Unit at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) provides maternity care to women with low to moderate risk pregnancies. OPH also offers a newly established Neonatal Unit which provides care to babies requiring admission to a Nursery facility, in a convenient location at a small suburban site. We offer a range of support services including Social Workers, Physiotherapists and Lactation Consultants.
