You will fall in love with the natural splendour of the North West Queensland region, the experience of a rural/urban community and the opportunity to make a real and positive difference.About the roleThis role is an advanced clinical practice registered nurse who provides psychosocial and clinical support services (including forensic sexual assault examinations) to victims of sexual assault over the age of 14 years and may be required to assist Paediatric staff with examinations of children under the age of 14 years.RequirementsMandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences (e.g. Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)).Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.Appointees will also be required to participate in an on-call roster.The position may involve travel to various facilities or units within the North West Hospital and Health Service.C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.Interested?Download the Role Description for further information and application / interview preparation.
