Due to significant growth, they have created a new senior role based in either Sydney or Brisbane.About the RoleThis senior, strategic position is key to shaping the company's sustainability and quality strategy.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee sustainability frameworks, environmental compliance, and quality assurance programs across the business.
A key focus of this role is ensuring compliance with new regulations under the Companies Act, requiring large businesses to produce audited sustainability reports.
Additionally, as a major market within the group, you will play a crucial role in meeting Nordic NASDAQ reporting requirements in the Group's annual report.In this role, you will: Develop & implement sustainability strategies – Ensure the business meets and exceeds environmental targets, staying ahead of industry trends and regulatory requirements.Monitor and manage environmental data – Collect, validate, and analyse sustainability data to drive decision-making and support audited reporting requirements.Enhance quality management systems – Implement and maintain quality assurance frameworks to ensure high operational and product standards.Lead audits and compliance activities – Conduct sustainability and quality audits, ensuring adherence to national and international standards, including regulatory reporting obligations.Engage stakeholders – Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to promote sustainability best practices and meet evolving compliance requirements.Drive continuous improvement – Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency in sustainability and quality management.What We're Looking ForTo thrive in this role, you will have:A degree in Engineering, Science, Sustainability, or a related field.Proven experience in sustainability and quality management within a corporate or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks, including regulatory and NASDAQ reporting requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data, drive insights, and propose meaningful sustainability initiatives.Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.Experience in continuous improvement and root cause analysis to drive best practices.A flexible organisation with an amazing culture.
