DG/AP Sales Manager - QLD Job Location: Queensland, Queensland, Australia Employment Type: Regular Category: Sales Posting Date: Nov 24, 2024 Key Responsibilities Sales - Grow the business (within corporate and agreed objectives) on an annual basis in both revenue and profit margin. - Maintain key customer contact at multiple levels and functions and identify key decision-makers to ensure customer satisfaction as well as identifying any trends, changes or new opportunities. - Prepare and conduct product presentations and customer training on request. - Sell from the existing range of products to both new and existing customers in order to meet assigned growth and sales targets. - Identify new opportunities and demands for new products. - Assist the IA Manager, as requested, in the development and establishment of Budgets and Sales Planning, Targets and Objectives. - Keep abreast with market trends and advise management of any changes in competition, products, pricing or development needs. - Maintain in good working order and oversee the maintenance of all assigned company assets, such as company vehicle, cellular phone and computer. - Participate in other activities and provide other information as may be requested. - At all times represent the Company in a professional manner consistent with the Company's image and corporate responsibility to health, safety and the environment. - Ensure that activities related to the function comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards. Customer Processes - Attend customer trials and work with Technical Services / Chemists to commercialize a total product/process package. - Become an integral part of assigned task teams, created to assist current/new customers in matching a suitable Bostik product to a customer application in order to meet a desired outcome acceptable to the customer. - Ensure that identified requirements are incorporated into task team activities. - Develop plans and obtain customer agreement at all stages of commercialisation. - Logistics - Assist in the advice and collection of delinquent accounts. - Handle customer claims in a timely manner and in consultation with management. - Service customer order and delivery requirements to optimise customer satisfaction. - Communicate across relevant Bostik functions to ensure correct forecasting, leading to effective stock management and inventory control. Reporting - Regularly report on sales activities and sales performance: - Customer Database Management (CRM) - Weekly / Monthly planner - Weekly / Monthly report - Prepare and submit monthly product forecasts Required Profile - 5 years selling experience is essential - Current Australian drivers licence - Demonstrated people skills - Demonstrated PC Skills (excel, word and Power Point) - Work constructively with team members to develop relationships that deliver agreed outcomes - Develop and promote advancement of ideas/innovation - Ability to plan and coordinate activities - High attention to detail and be able to highlight anomalies - Able to work in confidence and with minimal supervision - Able to meet deadlines and organize work priorities - Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills - Decision making skills - Negotiation skills - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or a willingness to complete further study Who we are?Arkema is a world leader inInnovative Materials for a Sustainable Worldwith the ambition to become a pure Specialty Materials player.
