About the opportunity
The state-of-the-art Vehicle as a Node (VaaN) technology has been installed on more than 200 emergency vehicles by NSW SES, switching between mobile broadband, public safety networks, and satellite connectivity. This technology enhances communication capabilities, particularly in 'black spots' with limited coverage, improving voice clarity, and connectivity during emergency responses.
The Assistant Project Officer (APO) role is crucial in supporting the wrap-up of the VaaN technology project and acts as the vital link between the Project Team and the Fleet Team. Beyond the project's completion, the role becomes pivotal in ensuring a well-documented and smooth transition from the Project Team to Fleet Team management, focusing on supporting VaaN operations, maintenance, and efficient delivery.
