In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Develop & implement technology solutions in accordance with best practices and agreed-upon timeframes. Engaging with Architects and Security Specialists to provide a key link between the technical needs of the business and the solution design. Sound knowledge of domain driven design techniques in practice. Effectively challenge and proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement of the development best practices by leveraging existing capabilities. Identifying technical challenges and providing innovative solutions to complex problems. Collaborate effectively with product and UI/UX teams, providing technical input to the strategic direction of technology investments. Actively participate in planning sessions and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed. Work with containerization technologies. Identify opportunities for process and codebase improvements and propose effective solutions. Proactively raise potential project risks and issues, contributing to problem-solving and decision-making. Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to team members and other stakeholders. Mentor junior team members within the team. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: At least 9 years of professional work experience. Proficiency in Java programming and experience with Java-based frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot), software development practices including testing (unit and functional) and code reviews. Strong skills in systems and application programming including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, software design, and system design. Extensive experience in microservice-based architectures, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and Cloud technologies. Proficiency in architecting and designing DevOps solutions, including the continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Git and Jenkins. Experience working with containerization and serverless technology. Experience with administering Linux and Windows systems. In-depth experience with core AWS services including VPC, TGW, ALB, ELB, NLB, IAM, KMS, EC2, Config, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Lambda, and others. Expertise in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in cloud-based environments, crafting AWS cloud automated policies for governance using native services such as Lambda, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB. Experience with SQL and managing Database clusters (Oracle, MSSQL, POSTGRES). Collaboration with multiple agile squads to identify opportunities to deliver reusable components. Experience in leading and enabling others to perform at their best when implementing new technology solutions. Desirable: Experience designing and building large-scale systems within a multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture). Hands-on experience in managing networks and network infrastructure. Familiarity with NoSQL Database. Familiarity with React JS front-end technology. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly. Strong technical troubleshooting skills. Experience with release pipelines.
