We pride ourselves on a school with quality staff and high achieving students.About the Role:The Teacher Aide reports to the Principal or Business Manager as appropriate. The reporting relationship to teachers may be changed by the Principal on a regular basis to fulfil specific needs within the school. When supporting students with specific health procedures, a Teacher Aide will be under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered nurse or medical practitioner.As the Teacher Aide your key responsibilities will be:Working in the library on a rostered timetable.Assisting students that require a school laptop and when they return them at the end of the day.In-class support with students.Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.Assisting in preparing, storing, making available and clearing away teaching equipment and materials.Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students including the delivery of first aid.Assisting with the collation of data including NCCD and software such as TrackEd, Education Perfect.Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families.Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.This is a Temporary Part-time position, commencing 23 January 2025 to 12 December 2025, working 60 hours per fortnight or 0.79 FTE.Please view the Role Description for a full list of responsibilities.Interested?
