This is a great opportunity to work closely with the CFO as part of a small finance team of three. Your responsibilities will include:
* Accounts Payable/Receivable: Code and process invoices, manage vendor relationships, negotiate payment terms, and resolve discrepancies. Maintain current accounts receivable and process customer invoicing.
* Banking & Financial Reporting: Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, deposit cheques, prepare financial reports, and track employee purchases.
* Payroll: Address payroll changes, create pay checks, monitor deductions, and prepare government returns. Maintain records for vacation, sick leave, and employee attendance.
* Office Administration: Coordinate travel bookings, manage office supplies, assist with job postings, and organize company events. Ensure customer contracts and records are well-maintained.
* Document Management: File and sort documents, create consolidated reports, and assist in preparing internal presentations and special projects.
* Customer Service: Serve as backup for the Office Manager, greeting visitors and answering phone calls.
About you:
We are ideally seeking a candidate with at least three years of experience managing accounts in a varied role. It's important to understand that this is a small team where everyone collaborates across all areas. Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment will be highly regarded.
