Hy-Tec is seeking an experienced and motivated VIC Sales Manager to lead our sales, customer service, and distribution teams across Victoria.
About the Role As the VIC Sales Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our business in Victoria.
With the support of a national marketing team and well-established guidelines, you'll have a hands-on approach in representing Hy-Tec within the residential and commercial building markets, as well as through our valued retail partners.
You'll be responsible for driving high performance, accountability, and results while fostering a culture of collaboration and clear communication across all functions.
What You'll Be Doing Assess the VIC market and develop strategies to maximize growth opportunities.Set and manage sales targets, operational budgets, and performance metrics.Analyse sales trends, profitability, and market opportunities.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and customer service team.Negotiate and manage customer relationships with a consistent and professional approach.Serve as the key connection between Sales, Customer Service, and Operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.What You'll Need to Succeed Proven experience in a sales management role, ideally in the construction materials or building products sector.Strong leadership experience, including managing large, multi-functional teams.Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.A strong customer focus with excellent relationship management skills.Ability to work independently while aligning with company objectives.Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP experience (preferred).Strong analytical and reporting skills.Why Join Hy-Tec?
