BINGO industries are looking for our newest Site Manager this is an exciting opportunity working across our Queensland territory .
Role & Responsibilities: Manage the overall day to day running of the site including: Resourcing and rosters Performance of all fixed and mobile waste processing equipment Throughput and recovery rates Management of stock levels, incoming and outgoing Ensure the site maintains strict adherence to all Safety & Environment policies, procedures and licenses and as the leader of the site role model exemplary behaviour in this area.
Manage all recyclable items such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, timber, cardboard etc.
to ensure quality of waste separation techniques used Traffic management Monitoring of all vehicles entering and leaving site, including the collection of data and information as required.
Ensure all customers are served in a timely manner and any issues resolved professionally Direct all visitors on site, including customers, to the correct areas and ensure that all persons are site inducted, appropriately trained and monitored Manage the internal and external surrounds of the recycling centre on a daily basis, directing appropriate workers in the collection of windblown litter and other dumped or scattered items for disposal in the correct location Plan, supervise and monitor employees and the work of any subcontractors Plan and prioritise work and efficiently organise the plant and sites facilities in order to meet agreed timeframes Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all assets and facilities are well maintained and operational, maximising up time.
Collect and approve timesheets, pre-start inspections and cash handling documentation as required Manage, monitor and evaluate staff performance Meet with team members on a regular basis to ensure a good flow of information and feedback is maintained at all times Stay ahead of the curve in identifying problems that may hamper productivity before they happen Maintain good lines of communication with the Operations and Maintenance Teams on plant service and repair requirements to maximise plant "Up Time".
Work with Operations in a regime of continuous improvement, working on ways to help make the site/s safer and more productive Take the lead and be proactive in engaging with neighbours around the site and ensure traffic entering and leaving the site has as little impact as possible What makes you a GOgetter: Prior experience as a Site Manager in a fast paced highly regulated operational environment.
Up to date machine tickets (Excavator & Front end loader preferred) Experience effectively leading, developing and building teams Working knowledge of fixed and mobile plant and machinery or at least mechanical knowledge of some description Demonstrated experience in the effective transfer and application of knowledge of principles to practices Demonstrated experience in the application of workplace health and safety practices and procedures Experience with the use of computer and a working knowledge of office software packages (MS Office) Ability to analyse data and reports and translate this to improve site performance What you receive as a GOgetter: ??
