Medical Receptionist - Townsville - Full Time Townsville GP Superclinic is seeking a full time Medical Receptionist for our General Practice on Charters Towers Road, Hyde Park - a busy Clinic, with a variety of work. Rostered hours - full time, with shared rotational weekends Good availability and flexibility Great customer service skills required Availability during the hours of - Mon to Fri 7.30am - 10pm Sat 8am - 7pm Sun 8am - 6pm 38 hours, with 5 days of 7 regularly rostered (approx 7.5 to 8 hour shifts). Duties include, but not limited to: Answering incoming calls, busy switchboard and write professional emails Appointment bookings and managing multiple diaries on a software system Meeting and greet patients General cleaning and rostered upkeep of practice areas including bathroom checks and tidy - follow strict infection control requirements. Stock take and daily re-stocking of supplies Willingness to learn, be directed and follow procedures Screening entering patients, in compliance with current guidelines Dealing with patient enquiries, delays and rescheduling, over the phone and in person, including challenging situations Filing, scanning, copying Providing support / assistance to our healthcare professionals The successful applicant must have: Available to participate in a rotating roster, with the Clinic open 7 days (currently closed Public Holidays) Includes morning, afternoon, evening and shared rotational weekend shifts Excellent customer service skills necessary Good availability Attention to detail Willingness to learn on the job, with a 'can do' attitude Previous Healthcare industry experience preferred, if possible.
