Ongoing, Full-time Position Overview:
The Fleet and Procurement Officer plays a crucial role in the procurement and provision of advice related to the Courts' fleet, including judicial, SES, and pool vehicles. This position is responsible for maintaining policies governing the Courts' fleet, updating contracts databases, managing fleet-related Comcover insurance issues, and performing various procurement reporting activities.
Major Activities:
* Liaise with Judiciary and senior managers on vehicle entitlements, selection, lease management, accident management, maintenance servicing, and end-of-lease arrangements.
* Establish and maintain contracts and related files for the Courts' fleet.
* Maintain and update the Courts' fleet policies.
* Develop and track Comcover insurance claims.
* Assist in managing reporting and data provided to the Courts.
* Consult, negotiate, and network with senior managers, the judiciary, and external professionals on contractual matters.
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated working knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines, fleet management, contract management, insurance-related matters, and financial principles.
* Capability to develop strong relationships and meet client service expectations.
* Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
* Effective organisational skills, including prioritisation and timeliness.
* Able to work well in a team, act with integrity, and use initiative as required.
Eligibility:
Employment with the Court is subject to conditions prescribed in the Public Service Act 1999, including Australian citizenship, security clearance, and completion of probation period.
