About the Role
This Maintenance Officer opportunity offers a chance to contribute to a vital public services provider in Brisbane. As a key member of the Facilities/Corporate Services team, you will manage day-to-day maintenance activities and coordinate contractors across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Facility Inspections: Conduct early morning inspections to assess building cleanliness and safety.
2. Maintenance Coordination: Oversee and assist contractors, ensuring quality standards are met and safe work practices are followed.
3. Fleet Support: Coordinate vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and fleet-related tasks, including odometer readings and damage assessments.
4. Operational Maintenance: Perform routine building and grounds upkeep at the Brisbane office and other South East Queensland sites as needed.
5. Logistics Coordination: Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries and maintain inventory for building supplies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring strong maintenance and facilities management skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and contractors.
Requirements
Open to candidates with practical experience in maintenance. A valid driver's license is required for occasional travel to multiple locations.
Salary and Benefits
* $85,000 - 110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
* A full-time position (36.25 hours per week) with flexibility.
