An exceptional opportunity is available for a dynamic and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator to join the Intensive Care and Cardiac Units in a permanent part-time capacity (24 hours per week) at a private hospital in Gosford.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing support and education within and to areas outside of Critical Care;
* Supporting activities around the hospital's Medical Emergency response;
* Working collaboratively with the education support team;
* Coordinating and delivering the hospital's Advanced Life Support program and Paediatric Life Support Program.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA;
* A ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work independently;
* Clear communication abilities and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
* Greater than 5 years ICU experience and/or postgraduate qualifications in Intensive Care Nursing;
* Current ALS and PALS accreditation;
* Post graduate qualifications in education OR a Certificate IV in training and assessment is desirable, and previous experience as a CNE will be highly regarded.
