Learn more about us and what we do at awaresuper.com.auYour New RoleIn this role of Investment Analyst, you will support and contribute to the following:Formulation of the investment strategies for the Fund's diversified investment optionsData-driven total portfolio insights and decisionsTotal portfolio and sector risk analysisCollaboration on projects with the broader investment team and other business functionsSome of your key accountabilities will include:Enhancing portfolio design, analytics and processesContributing to the development of capital market assumptionsStatistical analysis of time-series and cross-sectional data to support decision makingDeveloping deep knowledge of source data and assisting with database design and managementEffective collaboration with sector teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the total portfolioTo be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:Experience in Portfolio Design and Analysis OR Funds Management, Consulting or SuperannuationAn advanced degree majoring in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics OR Mathematics with a focus on Investments, Portfolio Construction and RiskUnderstanding of asset classes and investment management practicesSolid coding experience in statistical analysis and tool development (Matlab, R or Python)Excellent communication and time management skillsReport construction capabilities. Experience with Power BI is a plus.Industry designation or working towards this (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plusA positive and curious approach to investments and riskStrong understanding of financial modelling, statistics and quantitative measures of riskEmployee ExperienceWe understand that not everyone works in the same ways.
