We are seeking a Manager of Sales Support to join us on our journey from strength to strength. This is an opportunity for a strong sales support-focused leader to join our ANZ Sales Leadership Team.
This position can be based at our Pukekohe Branch in NZ or at our Ballarat Head Office in AU.
What the role looks like:
The role of Manager of Sales Support, AG will be to architect, manage and share sales data and data-related processes to maximise the efficiency of our diverse salesforce.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership
Recruiting, training and developing a team of experts focused on key disciplines of Sales Support.
Working closely with other key leaders within the organisation to intimately understand their needs and challenges to drive departmental priority.
Working intimately with peers to share common challenges, best practices and leverage solutions to achieve objectives more efficiently.
Reporting & Communication
Identifying, gathering and organising key data sets that exist across multiple functions.
Building dashboards to connect these data sets through intuitive interfaces with a focus on increasing the speed-to-decision.
Owning the calculation, organisation and communication of market share and all related data.
Understanding and supporting the sales operations group to achieve sustainable and competitive margins across all industries, geographies and product lines.
Building and executing cadence and control for key recurring reports.
Responding to complex, ad hoc reporting requests and using these requests to drive future dashboard development, where applicable.
Working closely with the IT group to educate the meaning of core data sets so they can be appropriately stored and retrieved by the necessary departments and individuals.
Demand Planning
Being accountable for our forward-looking demand forecast and working closely with inventory teams to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
Working closely with stakeholders to understand market trends and future forecasts for accurate planning and decision-making, pricing and programs reflect the current supply position.
Pricing, Programs & Incentives
Building and managing a competitive and company transaction data database to create a 360-degree view of pricing position by product, model, geography, etc.
Utilising this data to make recommendations to the corporate sales team on necessary pricing or program adjustments to win the business.
Developing a system that allows competitive price positioning to be analysed by numerous variables (period, customer type, product, deal type, etc.).
Developing and managing internal incentive programs that align focus across our diverse sales channels.
Performing ongoing product line health audits to ensure profitability meets corporate standards.
Process, Automation & Training
Assessing and adjusting frontline sales process to bring a common approach across all locations, departments and product lines.
Developing an intimate understanding of the frontline sales process and working to eliminate waste through the development of tools, automation and shared training.
Developing and delivering consistently accessible training materials to frontline salespeople, especially Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators.
Being the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the sales process in the channels for Brandt CRM and related projects.
