You can be a part of the Simba difference. About the role As a Business Development Manager, you will be a natural hunter who gets a rush actively opening doors and sales opportunities. With a dedicated territory across VIC and parts of SA, you will proactively identify, meet with, and win new customer accounts to drive sales within our commercial division. With a hunger for attaining new business, your key accountabilities will include: Systematically identifying, prospecting & ultimately winning new business across the entire product line. Actively creating connections through cold calling and networking, identifying decision makers and influencers to infiltrate and build long-term relationships across Aged Care and Hospitality sectors. Effectively planning and executing consistent new sales pipelines. Managing sales activity through CRM systems including customer lists, activity plans and call reports, prospects, won and lost sales and opportunities. (we have a very strong in house customer support team to assist you with all administration tasks). Adding value to customers by understanding their business needs and providing solutions. To be amazing in this role You love the hunt and be on the road As a driven and energetic Business Development professional, you pride yourself on your ability to infiltrate and problem solve. With strong connections selling textiles across multiple categories, you can demonstrate: 3 years direct selling experience in B2B sales. Experience selling textiles and linens to the commercial market is a must. Proven track record of managing and growing a sales pipeline, working with not only incoming marketing leads but using out-of-the-box techniques to hunt new opportunities. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (Dynamics advantageous) An inquisitive mind and a mindset in wanting to provide customers with solutions.
