The Project
McConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors, along with Design partners Mott McDonald, Arup and Aurecon have been awarded the Tram Grade Separation Projects as an Alliance, comprising of works at locations along the Glenelg Tram Line. The level crossings at Marion Road and Cross Road will be replaced by tram overpasses, removing the interface with road traffic and creating new public spaces beneath. This project will improve network efficiency and safety at their locations for all users.
Currently in the Design and procurement phase, early works for the project will commence in December 2024, with the occupation running from August to November 2025. Trams to be running by December 2025.

Your Opportunity
As a Delivery Manager you will be responsible for delivering your section of this crucial project to time, cost, quality and compliance dimensions. Ideally you will bring experience in the delivery of structures works in a rail environment and managing works under rail occupations. For SRTO, experience in heavy lift operations and structural steel fabrication and construction. Adelaide locals and interstate applicants looking to relocate home to Adelaide are encouraged to apply. Our minimum requirements :
1. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in quality assurance, control, and completions management in various disciplines; Civil, Mechanical, Rail and Utilities.
2. Relevant technical qualifications. Tertiary Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Civil Engineering discipline preferred
3. Operational experience in the application of quality management principles in the construction industry.
4. Detailed understanding of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems
5. High level communication, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
6. Solid relationship and team building skills
7. Ability to accurately record activities and ensure business process are adhered to
