Your Responsibilities As a Support Worker with Morcare, you will assist clients with the following tasks: Community Access - assisting clients out in the community such as Shopping assistance, going to the Cafe, Gym Programs, Hydrotherapy and day programs Domestic duties - maintaining household cleanliness, vacuuming, mopping and laundry. Personal care activities including showering, dressing and toileting Supporting clients within their own homes and out in the community Meal assistance and preparation. Plus more Client Shift Times and Locations: Heathmont Weekly Fridays: 8:00am - 12:30pm (possibility to extend until 4:30pm) Weekly Sundays: 9:00am - 1:00pm Client requires high care clinical support needs requiring PEG Feeding support and 2:1 Hoist Transfers. Morcare will give training to the successful candidate the training to support the client and partake in a Manual Handling Training Course. The incumbent should be comfortable with working with non-verbal and high clinical car clients. Ferntree Gully Weekly Mondays: 9:00am - 11:00am Client requires domestic assistance with cooking, cleaning dishes, bed dressing and medication prompting. Client also requires some groceries to be collected from time-to-time. The incumbent should be comfortable with domestic assistance and behaviours of concern. Additional Shifts In addition to these shifts, we will be actively looking to increase your roster as we build capacity within our growing Support Worker team. Qualifications: A Certificate or qualification that relates to Support Workers duties is preferred, but not required. We may consider transferable skills and personal experience as part of your application.
