The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping Duties:
o Manage daily transactions, accounts, and banking relationships
o Prepare monthly accounts and liaise with external accountants for tax queries
o Reconcile bank accounts and prepare BAS and FBT reports
o Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, superannuation, and PAYG
o Prepare board reports and maintain financial systems
* Office Administration Duties:
o Arrange travel, manage office supplies, and oversee building management
o Support compliance, client events, and improvement projects
o Liaise with insurance brokers, mobile providers, and suppliers
o Help manage business systems and climate-related data collection
* Professional and Team Contributions:
o Deliver professional services aligned with company values
o Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
o Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field (preferred)
* Strong numerical skills with great attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software Xero
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Innovative and proactive approach to streamlining business efficiencies
* Experience in marketing and HR processes (advantageous)
