Your role involves delivering innovative engineering solutions, optimising asset performance, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. You'll manage asset life cycles, assess risks, and oversee critical projects like overhauls and compliance inspections. Acting as a trusted leader, you’ll mentor junior engineers, collaborate with teams across CleanCo, and represent the business in dealings with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies. This includes:Strategic Planning: Collaborate with CleanCo leaders to identify priorities and develop mechanical engineering frameworks.Performance Optimisation: Monitor plant performance, identify improvement opportunities, and lead initiatives to boost efficiency and reliability.Asset Management: Create and implement asset life cycle and risk management plans to ensure infrastructure remains compliant and fit for purpose.Project Management: Oversee inspections, compliance checks, and project handovers to ensure assets meet operational requirements.Leadership & Collaboration: Step into a site leadership role when required, and work closely with stakeholders across CleanCo to deliver results.Industry Engagement: Stay ahead of industry trends and build relationships with peers, advisors, and service providers to bring fresh perspectives to CleanCo.About youA degree in Mechanical EngineeringRPEQ or working towardsSignificant experience in hydro and gas power generation, or a related fieldKnowledge of relevant regulations, standards and codesStrong project management skills, with a track record of managing complex mechanical worksA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilitiesYou have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.What We Can OfferWe understand that work is just one important aspect of our employee’s lives.
