About the RoleAs the Manager, Conferences and Events, you will lead a talented team to deliver seamless events that reflect RACS' values and strategic goals.
Your role will encompass day-to-day management, strategic planning, and continuous improvement of event delivery, with a strong focus on engagement, collaboration, and innovation.
You will play a pivotal role in growing event sponsorships, managing key relationships with specialty societies, and ensuring that each event meets the high standards expected by RACS and its stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Conferences and Events team, fostering a collaborative, professional, successful and high-performance culture.Develop and implement a strategic events plan aligned with RACS' values and objectives.Oversee the successful execution of large-scale conferences, ensuring operational excellence and high-quality delivery.Manage budgeting, sponsorships, and partnerships to drive revenue and strengthen event impact.Engage with key stakeholders, including Fellows, specialty societies, venues, sponsors, and vendors, to build and maintain long-term relationships.Provide strategic and operational support to RACS committees and boards involved in event planning.Continuously assess and mitigate risks associated with event delivery, ensuring a safe and effective experience for all attendees.About YouYou bring proven experience managing high-profile conferences and events, ideally within a complex or healthcare-related environment.
With a strong background in budgeting, strategic planning, and team leadership, you are known for your collaborative approach and ability to navigate complex challenges with confidence.
