Key Responsibilities:
* Travel Coordination: Plan and manage all travel logistics for events, including flights, accommodations, and transportation for attendees and staff.
* Event Travel: Travel to various events as part of the role, ensuring all logistics are executed seamlessly on-site.
* Event Logistics Management: Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure travel aligns with event schedules and objectives.
* Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with travel providers, hotels, and transportation companies to secure the best options and rates.
* Budget Management: Monitor and manage travel budgets, ensuring all expenses are within allocated limits while maximising value.
* Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all travel-related inquiries from event participants, providing timely and effective support.
* Problem Solving: Address any travel issues that arise promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the event.
* Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback from attendees regarding travel arrangements to improve future travel experiences.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in travel management, event planning, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and software.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
