Lead and supervise the Welcome Crew team
Work collaboratively to manage all aspects of client and staff bookings for meetings
About the Role
Our Workplaces team is expanding and we're looking for a Welcome crew Team Leader to join our vast community of solvers. The Workplaces Team brings our purpose to life by providing the first point of contact for all visitors to the firm that is crucial to the delivery of the PwC Client Experience
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Supervising a team
Software tools such as advanced Excel, MS Word and Google applications
Relationship building skills
Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
In our Workplaces team, your impact will be seen by:
Supervising, managing and be hands on member of the Welcome Crew team ensuring the smooth and seamless operation of in-house meetings / events and spaces through coordination and communication and attention to detail
Collaborating with PwC host / booker to maximise the Client Experience
Facilitating the provision of guest relations, reception, reservations and concierge services
Ensuring all guests and staff receive an exceptional and professional experience in any interactions.
Ensuring processes, procedures are followed and implemented whilst adhering to PwC policies and procedures in accordance with the 'New Ways of Working' practices
Ensuring the accurate, timely collection and flow of information to relevant operational teams
Identifying areas where improvements can be made and work with your team to provide possible solutions to policy/process improvements
Building and manage relationships with other team leaders within Client Services and other parts of the business
Practicing team leadership, staff management / performance monitoring and reviews, training and development with a focus on attention to detail and the client experience
Rostering & periodic reporting
Verifying financial and statistical data within the role
Managing / Supervising external suppliers and providers as needed to meet business needs
Facilitating staffing recruitment

Strong supervisory experience in leading a client services facing orientated team in either a hotel or corporate environment
A degree / diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualifications is ideal
You have proven ability to lead, motivate and coordinate a professional client services team to deliver outstanding results
You are able to build and maintain effective and strong relationships with guests, staff, colleagues
You have the ability to self manage, work cooperatively and collaboratively with others and have a flexible approach with an ability to function effectively under pressure, problem solve and to tight timelines
You have highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to consult effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
You have the ability to provide the highest level of customer service in a continually changing environment with a strong emphasis on consistency and flexibility
You are solutions focused approach and able to identify opportunities to add value
You are energetic, passionate and leads by example
You have the ability to communicate with confidence and respect for others
You have proven ability to use own judgement to effectively manage workloads, take responsibility for and prioritise tasks and clearly communicate when undertaking and delivering outcomes and services
