Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Management Specialist to join our client, an exciting consultancy and professional services company specialising in automation, project delivery, ITSM, and Service Advisory. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on key government clients, developing and managing multiple agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), advising on ITIL best practices, and enhancing service management maturity across a range of projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Negotiate Service Agreements: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and negotiate service agreements, including SLAs.
2. Provide Expert Advice on ITIL Best Practices: Offer tailored advice on ITIL best practices to programme and project requirements.
3. Enhance Service Management Maturity: Align existing system support with ITIL practices by creating Service Management Strategies and related documentation.
4. Manage Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with service stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment with deliverables.
5. Monitor and Optimize ICT Services: Report on and optimise the delivery of ICT services.
About You:
* Proven Experience: Proven experience in service management, with a focus on ITIL frameworks.
* Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of service management in government or large-scale enterprise environments.
* Demonstrated Ability: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate agreements, and deliver impactful outcomes.
* Skilled in Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
* Certifications: ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Practitioner certification (highly desirable).
* Education: A bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent (highly desirable).
