My client is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to undertake service work on residential strata, through to commercial office, hotels, factories, schools, airports and government contracts across the Sydney area.
You will be responsible for
* Programming experience with the main FIP panels – AMPAC, Pertronic, Notifier, Tyco, Simplex
* Experience with FIP/EWIS upgrades, installations, testing and commissioning
* Knowledge of applicable standards for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
* Train other fire techs in detection systems/fault finding/programming/installs etc.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous Fire Protection experience
* Minimum 2 years of fault-finding experience and programming.
* Good communication skills – writing notes, scoping rectification works
* Knowledge of applicable standards for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
