Front Office & Guest Services (Hospitality & Tourism)
Desert Cave Hotel & Opal Inn Hotel Motel are looking for a new front-of-house superstar to greet customers and help with daily administration, reception, and accommodation tasks.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to take the next step in their career and get their foot in the door with Black Rhino Group and the hospitality industry in Coober Pedy. Accommodation is available for the right candidate.
You will be required (but are not limited to):
1. Assist with daily administration tasks, including answering phone calls, managing and responding to emails, checking customers into their rooms, and directing inquiries to the right person.
2. Greet and welcome customers into the hotel.
3. Filing and organization.
4. Admin support to management and all staff members.
5. Work weekends with a flexible and rotating roster.
6. Flexible hours and shifts required.
You will possess these skills and qualities:
1. A friendly smile and eagerness to create a great experience.
2. Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
3. Excellent written and verbal skills.
4. Administration experience is beneficial but not required.
5. An understanding of RMS or other PMS systems is beneficial but not required.
6. Excellent time management and an ability to prioritize tasks.
7. An understanding of the hospitality industry.
