About the role: The Energy Solutions team is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager – eMobility based in Brisbane As one of Australia's leading mobility enablers, the development of electric vehicles and other non-traditional transport fuels present an opportunity for Ampol to decarbonise the transport market and leverage our existing position into clean charging infrastructure.
The Business Development Manager – eMobility will focus on selling and distributing Ampol's charging offering, including infrastructure and technology services associated, to businesses that could operate their electric vehicles across the Ampol eMobility ecosystem that include home, workplace and public network.
This role will leverage Ampol's existing B2B relationships whilst forging new ones.
Important to this role will be the ability to stay up to date with Ampol's evolving offering including future bundling opportunities and an ability to communicate this to our customers effectively.
Key Deliverables: Accountability and responsibility for originating, negotiating and executing the sale, installation and ongoing management of EV charging solutions for enterprises.
Build relationships with developers, retailers, procurement officers, agents and other industry stakeholders to ensure Ampol is the go-to choice for charging requirements.
Streamline lead generation processes and expedite time to close, and generally seek to improve efficiency of the business development and leasing process.
Assisting with new sales strategies and following industry best practice.
Internal stakeholder engagement across B2B sales, deployment, to ensure deals are secured Up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings to ensure Ampol's offering is best-in-class Providing feedback to the team as to the market evolution, competitive offerings, prospect / landlord needs Providing input to the marketing team as required External stakeholder engagement with hardware and software partners We'd love it if you have: Deep sales expertise in a relevant sector – commercial property, sustainability, electric mobility exposure, fleet sales, electrical engineering Demonstrated enterprise B2B sales experience – finessed approach to relationship building The ability to engage and collaborate with other related stakeholders to achieve the strategic goals of the organisation The ability to direct and guide a team through task completion to achieve goals Remain dynamic and flexible, being able to adapt resources to achieve company goals and targets Innovative self-starter and excellent negotiation ability and foresight to solve complex problems Ideal but not essential – knowledge of the EV industry and current events, with knowledge of EV charging systems and offerings In-depth knowledge of the EV industry and its current events We'll take you further by: Our total remuneration is competitive.
