About the role
Our federal government client is seeking an experienced Organisational Change Manager. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to drive and execute change initiatives across branch, ensuring smooth transitions to new ways of working within ICT environments.
Key responsibilities
* Plan, develop, and execute organisational change initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Design and implement stakeholder management and engagement plans.
* Create change management strategies based on specific business demands and challenges, encompassing communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and impact analysis.
* Conduct change readiness assessments, identifying performance gaps, and providing corrective action plans.
* Monitor the adoption and utilization of change initiatives, supporting business units with information and assistance as needed.
Highly desirable criteria
* Extensive experience in organisational change management within ICT or technology-focused environments.
* Proven ability to develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies.
* Demonstrated success in assessing change readiness and managing change impacts across business units.
Desirable criteria
* Strong project management and risk mitigation skills to manage business risks and concerns effectively.
* Ability to perform training, coaching, and mentoring within a professional environment.
* Experience in monitoring and measuring the adoption and success of change initiatives.
Skills and experience
* Current knowledge of information technology processes, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective networks within a small team and wider command environment.
* Proven ability to implement improved ICT practices and contribute to high-quality work within set timeframes.
* Leadership skills to guide and mentor less experienced employees in change management initiatives.
