About the Role
As an Area Manager you will be responsible for a variety of tasks under the branches of people management, operations and compliance, and administration/reporting.
You will be responsible for 6 sites located between Port Macquarie and Brisbane so regular travel will be required. We foresee the most appropriate base location to be around the Gold Coast area but are open to discussion on this.
You will be required to:
* Effectively communicate with all levels of team, including internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify, lead, and manage operational team.
* Mentor and develop the team to measure individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) against the Service Level Agreement (SLA’s) and drive the team to achieve service excellence, both individually and as team.
* Actively participate in the Annual Performance Review process for all managers and oversee the same process for all store teams.
* Oversee and support the recruitment, training and development of the store teams.
* Develop and maintain a wide range of business relationships – both central teams and external parties, in order to ensure integrity of the brand and excellent delivery of service.
* Conduct regular visits to all stores in the region, setting store standards and objectives in line with business requirements.
* Review current business processes, recommending and driving improvement plans in relation in service delivery alongside the Head of Food.
* Support the implementation of menus and participate in supplier networks.
* Analyse internal/external data and trends, responding to outputs to improve commercial performance and drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure the legal compliance of the Fast Food Industry Award (FFIA); Shift Patterns, Rosters, Clocking data in the Time and Attendance system.
* Ensure the adherence to health and safety procedures (HACCP) in all sites within the region.
About You
Ideally, you will have:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Area/Cluster Manager in a contract catering environment.
* Experience managing food compliance alongside HACCP guidelines.
* Experience managing stock and wastage.
* Experience in managing rosters, labour costs and compliance across a multi-sites.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with effective staff management and coaching skills.
* The ability to achieve targets and KPIs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility with work hours and locations as travel between northern NSW and QLD will be required regularly.
