Hays are proud to partner with Tasmanian Botanics in the search for a Manufacturing Manager to join their established team. Located north of Hobart, they are an award-winning manufacturer of medicinal cannabis for the pharmaceutical industry. Your new role
This is an exciting and dynamic industry and as Manufacturing Manager you’ll work within a dedicated team focused on producing an exceptional product in line with regulatory requirements. Longer term there will be opportunity for further advancement within the business. As Manufacturing Manager you’ll be responsible for:
* Adhering to pharmaceutical GMP standards for manufacturing
* Scheduling of work priorities for production staff
* Providing leadership to the manufacturing team leaders and supervisors
* Creating production schedules to maximise output
* Identifying areas of process and efficiency improvements
* Evaluating and reporting on production deviations
* Upholding compliance for legislative and regulatory requirements
* Adhering to HS&E requirements of the production team
* Overseeing material and inventory systems.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a results-driven individual who has strong management experience and are looking for an opportunity where you can grow your career further. Your background will include GMP and prior experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated food manufacturing industry, and you’ll be experienced with the processes of change control, compliance, investigation, and deviation.
Proactive and a self-starter, you are a strong decision maker who is focused on process improvement and has the ability to manage growth and change. You are process-driven and able to align all facets of the production environment including logistics, maintenance, and quality.
