We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Employment Relations Advisor to coordinate and manage employment relations issues and projects, provide advice, coaching, and support to line managers and staff on policy matters, industrial relations issues, legislative requirements, and support the resolution of workplace issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage employment relations issues and projects.
- Provide advice, coaching, and support to line managers and staff on policy matters, industrial relations issues, legislative requirements.
- Support the resolution of workplace issues.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation, enterprise bargaining agreements, and associated directives, policies, and procedures as they apply in a large complex public sector organisation.
- High level of skill in coaching, communicating, and negotiating within a complex and diverse organisation to resolve workplace issues, equity, and diversity matters, and support workplace change and reform initiatives.
- High level of skill in case management and leading complex workplace investigations and mediations.
- High level of written and interpersonal communication, consultation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
A relevant tertiary qualification in a related human resources field would be considered highly desirable.
