OBJECTIVESResponsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all projects for the business and full project delivery. Managing, planning, and scheduling all projects. Budgeting, monitoring, and controlling processes to ensure completion of project/s on time and on budget. Managing project engineers and controlling full hand over process to complete delivery of project/s DUTIES AND RESPONSILITIES Project Delivery Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Communicate project designs and plans effectively with site foremen and crews. Oversee site readiness, plant, equipment, and resource allocation. Implement quality control and risk management processes. Quality control of all works Planning and programming all projects and individual project programs. Manage, track and control costs. Review and negotiate supplier rates and terms. Manage weekly reporting of projects and production. Drive production targets in line with budgets Contracts Administration Liaise with clients to define project scope, timelines, and budgets. Negotiate terms, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations. Oversee claims, variations, and correspondence with clients. Clear understanding of client requirements and expectations. Successful negotiation of project scope, timelines, and budgets. Strong relationships built with clients. Clear and detailed project scope agreed with the client. Effective management of scope changes. Team & Resource Management Supervise and mentor project engineers. Ensure all relevant approvals and permits are secured. Monitor and improve document control systems Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance Uphold workplace health and safety standards. Monitor and report on WH&S and QA compliance, including near-miss and incident reporting. Lead injury management processes and emergency preparedness. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SET REQUIRED Project management expertise, including scheduling, budgeting, and cost management. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations. Proficiency in contract management and negotiation. Familiarity with WH&S and quality assurance systems. Proven senior management experience. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deadlines. Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or Construction or similar/relevant. Minimum 10 years' experience in civil engineering, piling, or a related field. Strong knowledge of WH&S regulations and the Building & Construction Security of Payments Act. Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools/ skilled to use CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects.
