(pro-rata) 17% superannuation About the opportunity MUST BE ENROLLED IN A PHD OR MPHIL DEGREE IN THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY The Faculty of Engineering are currently seeking Honours graduates for part-time (0.2 FTE) appointments at an Associate Lectureship level. You must be enrolled in a PhD or MPhil degree in the Faculty of Engineering and expect to remain enrolled until December 31st, 2026. Your key responsibilities will be to: engage in high-quality teaching and learning experiences which meet the University’s expectations and standards for education-focused staff engage constructively with student feedback and other evaluations of teaching practice suggest, implement and evaluate improvements and innovations in teaching and learning develop and understand best practices in teaching and learning attend and contribute to School/Faculty meetings and contribute to events such as Open and Info Days contribute to education-related projects aligned to the strategy of the Faculty. Training will be provided by Faculty staff and teaching mentors. Additionally, you will have access to various University training courses and modules on topics such as team teaching, creating positive environments, and peer-to-peer learning. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for Postgraduate Teaching Fellows who: have an Honours degree in Computer Science or related subjects are enrolled in a PhD or MPhil degree in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney have a passion for teaching, with previous tutoring experience highly preferred possess good time management and organisational skills have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are motivated and able to work independently have experience using Canvas (or equivalent learning management systems) and other online learning tools.
