Personal Assistant/Administration Officer Beacon Minerals owns and operates the Jaurdi Gold Project situated in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. In operation for 5 years, our project currently consists of open pit mining at the MacPhersons Reward project 5km south of Coolgardie and the Jaurdi Mill, an 850,000tpa Gold CIP processing plant 30km north of Coolgardie. From the solid foundations established to date, Beacon is now targeting a 10-year mine life with production of +50,000 oz per year. Beacon will achieve our goals of sustainable, long-term mineral production through exploration discovery or external acquisition, while continuing to focus on safe and environmentally sustainable production with an engaged workforce. ABOUT THE ROLE Beacon is currently seeking an experienced Personal Assistant/Administration Officer to join our team. This position will be based at our registered corporate office in Boulder, working full time on a 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off roster from 6:30am – 3:00pm. The position is offered to residential applicants only. KEY DUTIES Assist the Managing Director with a wide range of administrative and corporate tasks. General administration/office duties; including data entry, maintaining the filing system, and office supplies. Answer all incoming calls and client inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. Other ad-hoc tasks as required. Maintain confidentiality of all financial data. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Demonstrated experience in a busy PA or executive level support role. Previous administration experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with an ability to build relationships, communicate at all levels, "read the room" and remain calm under pressure. The ability to take on various roles and tasks within the office. A strong organizer who takes pride in what they do. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Reliable and takes responsibility in all aspects of their work. Excellent computer skills in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to quickly adapt to new software. Ability to work closely within a team environment.
