This is a full-time position and not suitable for a locum pharmacist.The BusinessAs one of the leading discount pharmacy brands in Australia, the pharmacy offers customers a wide range of pharmacy products and healthcare solutions including Palliative Care Support services.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSTo maintain appropriate ethical standards in relation to the Pharmacy.Dispense prescriptions in accordance with Pharmacy Board Regulations.Record and complete all dispensing in accordance with HIC Requirements.Counselling of patients on the use of their prescriptions as necessary.Report all errors, discrepancies or breach of ethics that may occur in relation to the pharmacy to the pharmacy/pharmacist manager or franchise owner.Maintain & order dispensary stock in accordance with the pharmacy policies and procedures.Regular checking of product ‘use by’ dates and the rotation of older stock to the front of stock displays.Ensure that Dangerous Drugs are handled and recorded according to relevant state regulations.Supervise the sale and handling of all scheduled medicines, ensuring these are handled correctly, following PSA Pharmacist Only and Pharmacy Only Medicines.Be available to other team members, where requested, to assist in dealing with customers.We are looking forA professional with a friendly and positive disposition at all times.Personal presentation is of a high standard at all times.Has a positive working relationship with peers and work colleagues.Is willing and able to do shift work including working over weekends as the business hours are from 08:30 am until 9:00 pm on weekdays and until 5:00 pm on weekends.Has excellent communication skills with customers and pays attention to detail.What’s on offerFlexible working hours, negotiable salary based on experience and shift work starting at $70,000 per year, supportive team culture.Overseas applicants are welcome to apply – our client can offer successful applicants an employer sponsorship.
