Relocation Support: Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500Interstate - up to $5,000Overseas - up to $8,000Accommodation Support Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or10 weeks interim GVH Accommodation (if available)Recruitment bonus: This role is eligible for an Allied Health recruitment bonus between $2,500 - $5,000.
The bonus will be paid on completion of a successful six-month probationary period and applies to new employees at GV Health only.

In this role you will work autonomously, undertake a varied and diverse workload and provide interventions in predominately home-based settings, making a true difference to our client's independence and well-being.
There is no nursing home work.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work and Speech Pathology services, supported by Allied Health Assistants.
The Speech Pathologist will provide person centred care with an opportunity to:
Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in home and clinic settingsWork with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at homeProvide specialist intervention to clients with dysphagia and complex communication disorders.Advise on appropriate communication aids and devices.Develop goals and care plans to assist consumers to remain at home and active in their local community.Work with a diverse range of consumers and health conditions.Participate in student training programsParticipate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.A comprehensive orientation program is available, along with supervision and support opportunities.
We are looking for a Speech Pathologist with: Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalentA member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and participating in the SPA professional self regulation programKnowledge and experience in the delivery of Speech Pathology services within home and community-based settingsKnowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across the full spectrum of health and community careExperience in the management of adult clients presenting with dysphagiaIn your application you are required to provide responses to the key selection criteria and provide a copy of your qualification certificate and SPA membership.If qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
